"Magical City"

©2008 D.M. Le Bris

I painted this from memory.
While walking through a bird sanctuary,
I remember enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature
and the reflections in the water.
Looking up, toward the horizon I saw a city,
a fog caressing its buildings.
Suddenly, it was transformed into a mysterious
and magical place.

Acrylic on wood.

Again Danielle! This is wonderful...the colors! You have a very beautiful way with colors! I am still trying to grasp the idea of painting so small. Do you use tiny brushes?

Danielle,

I really like the colors and thoughts in this one. The colors and textures just draw me into your work. It is as though I want to be in the middle of the places you paint.

Thank you so much for sharing with us all.

Danielle,

I love the colors in this one. Would you share with me the wood base you use for these? Do you make it or have it made for you?

Wonderful work, as always!
